Match Today + Chill out

Today soccer match was against Jenson's friend. Final score is 4-3, we lost to a injury time goal.
The team performance was not as good as before the soccertron cup. Today we could not pass well, the passes were over hit, clearing balls up field. After about 1 to 2 months of break, the team lacks composure, confident and match fitness.

My performance aint good either, cant control the ball well with my first touch, losing possession lacking match fitness... Don't know why i lack of match fitness though cause this 2 months i have been attending RT and my IPPT results have improve... hmm.

After match went chill out/events with the team manager and some of the team member organized by the church. I did not participate in the games as i'm too shy haha and dont know most of the people there.

But I had a good time there with the teammates and the live band there is awesome :)

NightWatch Dinner on 13th September

Finally there is a NightWatch dinner liao. They always plan but always fail cause people put aeroplane or busy with work. haha. We had Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe special thanks to SpearWulf aka Neville for planning it.

Today! OMFG 18 people turn up for the dinner but sad lah rulezzz right hand man LUSTYZ aka Yew Boon got stuck in camp. We waited for all to turn up and the last one to reach will have to wear Chonmage! Ting Ting! Guess who is the last one. haha its our dear Lester
so he will have to wear the chonmage.

Hehe Went to work as usual on Friday lor. I though it was going to be another normal day for me as i dont celebrate my birthday. At 3.15 pm i receive a call from PeiPei asking me to go to the tea room 15 minutes later. I reach the Tea room and saw my colleague bought me a Durian Cake. I am so touch and not used to it because no one has really celebrated my birthday for 20 years already. haha. They sing Happy Birthday Song for me and ask me to make a wish hehe :D. Omg I LOVE THEM so much :D

After work I went to meet my 19 years buddy :D yup i know him when we were in primary one keke. I havent meet him for a long time liao as he is now a family man liao haha. I Meet his Wife too and they treat me Dinner. Thanks alot :D He always remember my birthday :D *touched*

This year we went down to Natsu Matsuri again~!. Sadly it rained this year again and it was more heavy than last year event but that never stop us from going down. <3 Natsu Matsuri~~ The Stuffs there were funny and friendly when they gave out the fan as we are gathered in the foyer due to the rain and it was very stuffy. Because of that they started the event 30 minutes early :D. Woo I miss the events and the food there. The Sausage is pwnage hahaha! and Asahi Beer haha! I didn't drink it this time and usually i don't drink =D sadly Raphael is in Australia
and cant join us this time D: wrong timing for your overseas attachment lah :X Ku Ku leh you haha

Spurs lost the game again lor. First game Lost 2-1 to Middlesbrough. Now they lost 2-1 to Sunderland at home somemore. What can i Say about Spurs. Their game play was so boring, no flare no penetration same like when Martin Jol was in charge. Worst thing is I think Ramos bought a more shity keeper than Paul Robinson. WTF was he doing for the second goal O.o. Buy so many players but still play the same boring football, can play more attractive and flare football? ZzZ

It is my first time going there to eat kekeke. We manage to get Bernard to join us for dinner as he always gave lame reasons like cannot make it, going out with friends haha =p. IBM Makan Fest and IBM Idol

We Head down to Changi Business Park IBM HQ for makan fest and IBM Idol competition today. The main focus is not on the Makan Fest but was the IBM Idol Competition. My colleague Zhi Mi got into the finals and then whole team went down to support :D Such a heart warming scence haha I really enjoy working with ISS team but too bad i got transfer to RSS. In the end of the competition Zhu Mi got 2nd Runner Up. I didn't took much picture except the group photo.

I went to pei pei's house to help her carry things to her friends house. Upon reaching i realise i did not bring my home made chili sauce and we took cab to my house and then to her friends house. After that we went to Escape Theme Park. Haha it was my first time there =/ so sua gu haha cause bo bian lah i very anti social haha but we manage to play the go kart only then it started raining but good thing is that we get to go again for free admission due to some technical problem with some of the machines. haha so heng :X.

At the Chalet KC, Thomas and me started the fire and some of them went to get some groceries.
After BBQ, they played taboo and some poker card games. I only join them when they play heart attack and they short of 1 player yeah yeah cause i dont like to drink lor haha.

I couldn't sleep till around 5 am cause 2 of my colleague got drunk and had to look after them. haha and interesting things happen :X

3rd Aug was the IBM Recreation Day. KC, Aaron, Moh Sing and me went to suntec to catch the movie of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I manage to see Ray, Zhu Mi, Pei Pei and Darren as it is very crowded with IBMers haha. The show was pretty normal to me not much of climax. I dont really encourage my friends to go watch it haha. After i show i went to watch The Dark Knight with Zhu Mi and Pei Pei. This show is 100x better than The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor haha! The plot is continuous and very execiting haha. Worth the 10 bucks for this movie :X

Red Cliff / Chi Bi

I went to watch the Red Cliff with my Brother. This is the movie that i anticipate the most because i am a Romance of the Three Kindgom lover. Hehe. My favourite general in RTK are Sun Ce, Zhou Yu and TaiShi Ci but Sun Ce and TaiShi Ci are not included in the flim as they died before the battle of Red Cliff. Some of the movie is fiction but overall i like the movie espically when they use the "ba gua zhen". I'm looking forward to the second part of the movie keke!

It has been so busy for me since attachment had started. I didn't have time to play any games on weekdays D:
My work hours is from 8 to 5 30 pm orz need to wake up at 6 30 am so early. Good thing my work place is 5 stops away from my house. haha
Now i am working at IBM International Holdings B.V. Singapore branch under ISS department. I really like the people there but i don't really like the work there because what i do there is scripting and scripting. Only sometimes i did other things like installing software, Linux OS, and some trouble shooting issues.

4 Weeks had passed since i started attachment. Beside work, i hang out with my colleagues after work. In my first week of work, I had dinner and went prawning with them on 4th July at Bishan. I did not go prawning before so i think it will be a new experience for me =). We took turn to "prawning" and i caught a small tiny prawn haha!. Only Thomas did not manage to catch one D: After that we went to BBQ the prawn. OMG i feel so pity for the prawn.. We use a satay stick and poke through it and barbecue it alive D:. I feel so sinful for killing them D:.

Next event was the IBM idol competition semi final held on 24th July. Zhu Mi my colleague took part in it and to support him. I stay back on 23th July with Pei Pei, Catherine and Bee Leng to make a poster for him. haha. Again its something that i never done before haha but i kind of enjoy it but due to my poor art and craft skills i didn't help much. I only cut the music note and the letter I. D: haha. We finally finish the poster at 10pm and we went off asap. As it was late Catherine suggest me to take cab home and she would help me claim the cab fare :D. so kind of her. I'm touched xD. But in the end the bus came earlier than the cab o.O so i took the bus home =/

On the 24th July. Yeap i went to support Zhu Mi. I though i will be late cause due to work. I rushed up to the competition room and saw him outside where i though i had miss his turn. I went to him ask him and he said some of the judges were late therefore there is delay in the time. He sang Yue Ding by Guang Liang omg wee u wee it is so nice to listen :D I need to go ktv with him liao and listen to him sing haha. Hope that he will be able to get into the Finals

After the competition, We went to eat durians at 4 seasons durian. It was kind of expensive. 7 durians for 100 bucks -.-!!! and the drink cost 25 in total.. its like 2.50 dollars for 1 coconut drink and same price for mineral water -.-!!!. Some of them were not full and suggested to eat at hong kong cafe. 8 of us went on to eat at hong kong cafe and the rest went home. It was my first time eating there too~ and Pei Pei and Bee Leng recommend me to eat the fried instant noodle so yeah i order it =p. After that, there was heavy downpour so we waited awhile before we went off.

I had fun going out with them haiz but the sad thing is that next Tuesday 29th July i will be transfering to another department. I feel 'she bu de' lor but no choice what to do.

Went to meet my ITE classmates for dinner at PS Swensen wor. Havent seen most after them since we graduated. haha Xiao Fei and Koon Yong still looks the same after four years haha. Tze Kun has become more and more cool and man haha and Xian Liang become so stylo liao haha esp with his hair xD. Creative IT Show 2008

Yeah I worked for Creative Technology in the IT show 2008. This is the best show i had worked so far in the sense that the staff are more approachable, things are more fun there and i got to know more people!! and make friends with them! This show i am working under the Headset (HPP) Deparment, its much more enjoyable! I mostly crap with Chee Siang AKA CHEESE! He is such a funny and crappy guy =). Our HPP "TAO" is Lawrence from Creative, He is only there on Sunday but i see he promote X-FI Avurana damn zai haha! Pei Fu him sia! Pleased to work together with him! He help us take mineral water and told us to drink more after we had finished serving the customers ^^ d("d). I hope i will be able to work in the next PC show for creative again and under HPP Section! Cheers!

The last time i worked for Creative in IT Show i was so anti social and i didn't make any friends at all. sad man i guess they think I'm not approachable haha! Actually is i am shy lah haha! Last time i was working in the X-Fi Department lor. The Creative staff from the X-Fi Department are so nice. Who are John, Agnes and Jamie.

Next The one i would like to thank the most is Rose. Why leh? Because she is so caring for us! She bought ren sheng ju hua cha for us to drink during the show! Gan dong de leh haha. And ah keep coming to spot check us asking us whether have we eaten already anot! haha. The First day i got no lunch to eat! then she went to get curry puffs for me haha xD. Don't know whose appetite so big sia! eat my lunch away! hahaha j/k j/k =)

haiz sad day for me. I am not shortlisted to work in Cisco Systems. There goes my dream company and job. The opportunity just flew pass me. It should drop an atomic bomb on me! hahaha!

11th March 2008. Early in the morning i woke up and went for interview with Cisco Systems and wah i though i was late zzz cause i forgot to do alot of things and slack infront of the com in the morning. I reached the Captial Tower at 10 15 am. Phew 15 mins early. I waited for a while then they started interviewing me. I think i did well in the interview and they told me to wait for them to see if i am shortlisted. I hope i will be shortlisted now i'm just waiting for their email haha!

Today in school i recieved a good news from my lecturer Mr James Lan, he told me that i was selected to go CISCO for SIP. wahhahaha, i'm so happy!!! but but sians still need to go down for a interview on the 11th march.... gan jiong liao =/ hope can make it and kick start my career xD

My Brother bought F1 Tickets for me!~ songgg wahahaha.

UIR End of Journey Reflective Journel

Alright choosing UIR as my CDS has taught me how to use search engines to search for my information using important key words. I also get to know that there are other search engines besides Google and Yahoo. For example MetaCrawler, this is the first time I have heard of this search engines. We also learnt how to use the advance search features to filter out unwanted results. Example I want to search for PDF file format and Google will only return me PDF file results that they found, removing other search results. This is a lifetime skill which we will apply in school and when we started working where I think it is beneficial to me.

Another skill that I have learned is how to differentiate quality websites for my researches in future. I am able to do researches using the internet with ease and also provide useful and quality information for my researches.

Uir Practical 8

Today the SBS sure piss me off. I waited at my bus stop from 8 30 am till 8 50 am for BUS 15. The Bus did not arrived at all so i took another bus and want to change to bus no 8 and i waited till 915 then the bus came... ****** I reached school at 9 45 am... I was late ... and no attendance then i went in the class and wow i got no com to use as the class is full and 2 com were spoilt. I ask my friend to let me use his com to do my test and rotted at the lab doing nothing. But i learn how to Cited a website as my tutor should us on the projector.

Last 30 min the technician mange to troubleshoot one of the com and i spend the time updating my wiki doing my cited reference.

But I am glad that they upgrade the computer to a core 2 dual E6550 processor. The old computer is killing me!

So fast Lab7.

In Lab7 i did research on the upcoming technologies for mobile devices which are HSOPA and UMB. I get to know that there are two types of 3G technologies in the market.
HSOPA is a technology developed by 3GPP and UMB is a technology developed by CDG. The current techology for 3GPP is HSUPA and CDG is CDMA2000
Currently in the world, most of the telecommunication companies are using HSUPA technology only a small percent are using CDMA2000. But as we compare the specs between the 2 new technologies. UMB has better uplink and downlink than HSOPA. But due the high coverage of HSUPA/HSOPA base station, companies are thinking if they will try the UMB technology because they will need to build the UMB base station around the world which will cost a huge amount of money.

Well in Lab 6a. I have learn to evaluate websites base on the evaluation criteria.
For this lab i did an evaluation on this website http://www.cdg.org/technology/3g_umb.asp
This website is the CDG Organization that developed the UMB/CDMA2000 technologies.
I wont type in detailed what are the evaluation i made for this website because they are stated in my assignment 2 so i just do a touch and go on the evaluation criteria here if not it will take up to 3 pages.

Uir Practical 4 & 5

I have been busy with assignments since my time table has been change to block teaching. so much stress and projects... I come to school at 9 am and went home at 9 pm doing assignments. I even come back to school to work overtime on Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm for my assignments

Okay back to topic. Basically for week 4 and 5. I spend the time doing my UIR assignments. After the lesson i am able to understand how many types of search engine are there. Example Google a normal search engine, MetaCrawler a search engines that search the search engine and directories. And i use the three of them to search for the keywords i type and compare the findings and the speed of the search. What advanced search features they have. Now i had learn how to make use of the advanced search features of Google to help me conduct a more detailed search..

At lab 5 We form our group for assignment 2 and we have to choose a topic and the problem is choosing the topic, my group and i don't really know what we want to do and we spend like 1 hour choosing the topic. crap, then finally we pick "Discuss the developments in the market for 3G mobile devices". Then we start creating the group and topics in www.uir-rawkz.wetpaint.com and start our assignment 2

Okay thats all for Lab 4 & 5 and proceed to Lab 6a!

Firstly, I used Google as my search facilities. Because google can do wonders. Google can even "assist us" in hacking. Google has the best Crawler!

Secondly, the keywords that i used for my search are impact, cyber crimes, business. By using the keywords, google is able to filter out all the unrevelant topics and only display the keywords that they found.

Thirdly, I havent compare yet. Haha, cause class end liao lah. I will do it later

Another website i visit quite often is http://www.hardwarezone.com/. This webpage is about IT stuffs. I can get all the latest price list from there, new technology. Hi I'm Mun Whye aka Niklas from Temasek Polytechnic enrolled in the course, Diploma In Cyber & Digital Security.

My outdoor hobbies are playing Soccer, Basketball, Cycling, Badminton and Driving.
My indoor hobbies are watching soccer, watching animes, listening to music, playing computer games, chatting online and sleeping.

My Most favorite games are Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger.
Some the console games i like to play are Romance of The Three Kingdom, Dynasty Warrior, Need For Speed Underground 2 and Carbon, Winning Eleven Series.

I have played some online computer games like DarkAges, Shattered Galaxy, Ragnarok Online, GunBound, Utopia, KartRider, Maple Story, Dota, Counter-Strike 1.6.

Here are the list of japanese animes that i like to watch, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, SlamDunk, Initial D, Prince of Tennis, Fate Stay Night, Trinity Blood.

Yes and i like japanese food.

My family consist of four, i had an elder brother name Eric. Well when we were young we don't get along very well we often fight and argue but things get better when he went overseas and studied and we chat online and get along very well now. Cheers!

I have a buddy whom i have know for 18 years, his name is Mark. I have known him since primary one. We always play computer games together and played soccer, basketball, badminton, cycling when we are in the secondary school days. Now time has passed and he is already married.

Most of my classmates are talking UIR as thier CDS, but we can't get into the same class. But good enough to have Ming Hui and Aaron with me in the same class.

That is what i can think of now. I will update it when i manage to think of some more things
